Trenton: Printed and Sold by Isaac Collins, 1793. Octavo, fully brown sheep, spine in six compartments with gilt bands and gilt floral decorations, unpaginated. The second bible printed in New Jersey, with the Old Testament dated 1793 and the New Testament dated 1794. The last leaf prints a "table of scripture measures," "a table of weights and measures", etc. This copy belonged to the Peirce family of Troy, NY (Deidana Sheldon Peirce and Josiah P. Peirce), with their family register handwritten to verso of NT title page and various scrap laid in. Covers worn and scuffed, leather with tears along corners and spine ends, binding separated in center with one leaf detached, toning to pages, lacking front endpaper. Item #14524
