Louisville, Kentucky: Henry Fischer Packing Co, Circa 1930s. 8vo, stapled, color illustrated wrappers, 32 pp, color illustrations from drawings, titled to front cover "Fischer's Recipe Booklet." A promotional cookbook for a Louisville, Kentucky meat packing company, written by a prominent home economist of the day. The first eight pages discuss the advantages of sausages, and print a series of "Sausage Suggestions." The rest of the book contains recipes, including Sausage Muffin Surprise, Liver Patties in Bacon Rings, Sausage Chop Suey, Fischer Appetizer Platter, Fischer's Family Cold Cut Special, Fischer's Special Tomato Surprise, Baked Ham A'La Fischer, and more.
