A well-illustrated fundraising booklet with information about the work of the Bowery Mission and Young Men's Home, founded in 1879 as a rescue mission for poor, homeless, and alcoholic young men in New York City. It was the third rescue mission in the United States, and the second in New York, engaging in "aggressive Christian work among the young men living in that locality...the work has been uniformly successful, over 300,000 young men having attended the evening meetings, many of whom have asked for help." With illustrations of boys at the mission, including color illustrations on both wrappers. Undated, but mentions the upcoming Christmas of 1905. University of Virginia only in OCLC.
