The booklet was issued by The Home Magazine, a periodical edited by Arthur himself. It notes at the end that "As "Strong Drink" is a subscription book, and cannot be had at the bookstores, the publishers of the Home Magazine will send it by mail on receipt of the price ($2.00) to any one who cannot obtain it from an agent."
