Illustrated by a frontispiece, eight coloured plates beautifully illustrating the different species of butterflies discussed by Scudder, and by additional black and white illustrations. A very good copy with front hinge cracked, pages toned, spine gently rolled, bumping and rubbing at corners and ends of spine, light wear to cloth mostly noted at rear board, still a very attractive copy.
