Huger Smith, photographs, and architectural drawings by Albert Simons. Limited first edition, "of the 1000 copies printed many were destroyed in the publisher's fire" (Howes 571). This copy signed by Smith on the front endpaper, together with the date April 14, 1919, and the address of her Charleston studio. Possibly the author's own copy. A very good copy with offsetting to front endpapers, toning to spine. Item #13140
