Photo Album Compiled by a Young Woman Hiking on Mount Rainier
Washington State: Circa 1905. A photo album compiled by an unidentified young woman, documenting an early hiking trip on Mount Rainier. 21 of the photos are landscape shots, showing the mountain, Nisqually Glacier, the Tatoosh Range, and various canyons and streams. An additional six photos contain subject matter related to the trip--tents, a larger group of hikers at rest, two Asian cooks ("Charley" and "Tuck"), a boat on Puget Sound, and more.
