Photo Album of 1990s Los Angeles Graffiti Art

Los Angeles: 1990s. Photo album binding measuring 14.25 x 8.25", containing 60 uncaptioned color photos, each 6.5 x 4.25", placed into plastic sleeves. An anonymously compiled collection of images of Los Angeles graffiti art in the second half of the 1990s. We were able to identify several of the artists from their tags, all of whom were based in Los Angeles--GAW, TKO, Andy "Midzt" Rios, and Can't Be Stopped. Several of the pieces are dated 1999, and two are dated 1995. A wealth of other tags, phrases, and iconography is present in these images, offering opportunities for further research. Overall in excellent condition, with some creasing/bubbling to plastic sleeves. Item #12706
