Menaul School Sandstorm

Albuquerque, New Mexico: 1930. Quarto, 11.5 x 9.5", black wrappers with orange lettering, [2], 96 pp. 1930 yearbook from the Menaul School, a boarding school for Mexican-American and Spanish speaking youths located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded in 1896, the school catered to students mainly from Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado, a region with very little in the way of public education. These yearbooks contain student contributions, including a class history, a student essay, a "Class Will" and "Class Prophecy". It also prints information on sports teams, clubs and societies, and contains illustrations of students, sports teams and clubs, plus cartoon illustrations, and more. No copies of the Menual School yearbook located in OCLC, although we have previously handled copies from two other years. Hint of creasing and toning to pages, a few small stains to pages, fading, wear and a couple of tears to covers. Item #11396
